OMNIVIDE

Omnivide is a progressive death metal band from Moncton, New Brunswick, renowned for their dynamic fusion of progressive, melodic, death, and symphonic metal. Known for their adventurous compositions, Omnivide blends labyrinthine riffs, towering melodies, and blast-beat fury into a sonic assault that is both chaotic and calculated.

Their debut album, A Tale of Fire (March 2024), solidified their place in the progressive metal scene. Inspired by fantasy and adventure themes, the album weaves complex instrumentation into a thrilling musical journey. Critics have praised the record for its masterful execution and genre-blending style. Metal Epidemic described their sound as “Imagine if Haken leaned further into extreme metal—complex, brutal, and brilliant.” The Progspace highlighted the band's genre fusion, stating, “The mix of styles on 'A Tale of Fire' speaks volumes to me.” Meanwhile, Metal Temple commended their artistry, calling it “undeniable,” with “songwriting that leaves you speechless.”

Omnivide’s rapid ascent in the metal scene is marked by key achievements, including nominations for 2024 Music NB Awards in the categories of Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. Their extensive 15-date tour across Eastern Canada, from Halifax to Toronto, expanded their reach and built a devoted following. In July 2024, the band signed with Seek & Strike Records (US), ushering in a new chapter for their career.
