IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION

Emerging from Metro Detroit, USA, Imminent Sonic Destruction blends progressive metal with melodic ingenuity, creating a sound described as “everything-but-the-kitchen-sink metal” by Angry Metal Guy. Their influences range from Pantera and Dream Theater to Meshuggah and Genesis, showcasing their versatility and innovation within the progressive metal scene. 

Their journey began with their debut album Recurring Themes, produced by legendary guitarist Roy Z (Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford). Following its success, ISD embarked on their first national tour supporting Pain of Salvation and Kingcrow. Their second album, Triumphia, received critical acclaim, leading to tours with progressive metal icons Fates Warning and Circus Maximus.

Their most recent release, The Sun Will Always Set, was hailed as their best work to date, balancing gigantic riffs, melodic sophistication, and emotional depth. With their fourth album set to release in 2025, ISD is poised to continue pushing the boundaries of progressive metal.
