ProgStorm Festival is Canada’s first festival 100% dedicated to the progressive metal genre. Its inaugural edition took place from August 8 to 10, 2025, at Le Ministère in Montréal, Québec, presented by The Progspace and organized by a team led by Metal Shed Productions.

Across three days, 13 bands — from emerging talents to established acts — delivered a diverse lineup spanning everything from classic prog metal to the most extreme subgenres. With two of its three days sold out, the first edition earned praise for its strong lineup and flawless organization.

ProgStorm Festival has quickly become the new community hub for progressive metal fans and artists in Canada.
